Great grandads funeral in 2 days…how to cope with it???

On the sunday that just went my great grandad passed away because of cancer. Anyway…the funeral is this saturday. I don’t know what they are called but i’m one of the people who carries the coffin to the car at the end of the ceremony. Anyhow, one of the things they have to do at his funeral is view the body at the end, place the lid on the coffin and carry it and so on. I know that viewing the body is all part of paying you’re respects, but i’ve never seen a dead person before, I think i’m gonna faint there or something embarrassing. How do you handle viewing bodies…? Please help, i’m worried?!

Funeral speech at my Grandads funeral. Don’t know what to say. Any help please?

My grandad died on wensday morning and i have to attend his funeral on friday. I want to say a few words at the service but I have no idea what to say. My cousin is also saying something but she is reading a poem. I want to say something else but i don’t have a clue on what to talk about. I am 15 and have never been to a funeral before. I was very close to my grandad and even though I’m not much of a public speaker I want to say something because I know I will regret it afterwards if I don’t. Any help will be greatly appreciated
