bereavement benefits etc?
URGENT UK BENEFITS ONLY
single parent dies 44, leaving teenage minor, previously on IB & DLA are there any bereavements that can be paid for help with funeral etc.(no savings)
most are only payable if there is a partner which is so out of date!!! please help
Can I get financial help with my mothers funeral, am on low income but no benefits?

What documents do I need to notify benefits/tax credits offices about the death?
- Any correspondence confirming payment to the deceased:
- Benefits normally available from the Jobcentre Plus office
- Tax credits normally available from HM Revenue & Customs
- State Pension normally available from the Department for Work and Pensions
- Child Benefit Number (if relevant)
